DIL SE is a phrase in the Hindi language that means "from the heart". We strongly believe that when you dance from the heart, it will show in your performance and touch the hearts of those that are watching. 

 

Dil Se Dance Company was created due to my love of Indian Bollywood dance and teaching children. As an educator for over 6 years I have always loved educating children and watching them grow in all aspects. Outside the classroom I have taught dance for over 10 years. In my own profession I have been a part of a former Competitive College Dance Team called Chicago Dhamaal. We have performed and won numerous state competitions and even performed at the United Center for a Bulls game. After my college dance days were over I never saw that same level of passion, energy, and effort put into children's dance choreography and decided to make a change. Dance should be about passion and performance and that is what Dil Se Dance Company stands for.
